The Kookaburra Ski Lodge is the best value in Jindabyne and the staff were extremely accomodating. For us it was the perfect place to rest after walking the Kusciuszko circuit.
Welcoming hosts who couldn't do enough for us.Room was comfy and clean with a air con.Lovely breakfast which was included in the price of our stay.Walking distance from main street and lake jindabyne.Will be returning to stay again.Thank you Brenda and Lee for a great experience.
This is a hotel full of time warps and subtle nods to the past. Austrian skii lodge themed with a beautiful dog named Duke who man's the entrance. A BBQ out back accompanied by a recreation room is handy not to mention the restaurant beside reception.
The Lodge is an older style facility but its super clean & real tidy. The owners are down to earth people who have a lot of pride in their business and it shows. If your a motor bike rider (like us) you'll be treated with respect as the owner is a rider himself. With the pub almost next door and BWS beside that you can get some takeaways & sit on the deck and enjoy life. And the cooked breakfast is a bonus that other places don't do or charge a mortgage for.
Had a good stay at the Kookaburra lodge last Saturday night with Brenda and Lee able to accommodate us on short notice after an all day ride from Mudgee. dorm style room was clean and warm and breakfast was great for an early start the next morning. thanks guys.
