Arrived to find tent site was a patch of gravel with no shade. No thanks. Set up at a different site but still wasn't great The tent sites are so far away from the amenities. A toilet block on the opposite side of the park would be a great idea. The amenities block includes coffee machine so I was stoked about that, until realising it is out of order. Actually, most of the things are including the majority of the washing machines.The dryers don't work either but there's no clothes line. The family bathroom was a mess, didn't really want to bathe my children in there. The main bathroom was great though.Would have been great to enjoy a spa but both were full of dead flies. The kitchen was very clean but ovens don't work properly. The entire amenities block is clearly made to keep warmth in. This must be a lovely space in Winter but it's awful on a hot day. Obviously you're not camping to hang out in the amenities block but would be nice to use the facilities without sweltering. Some ventilation or cooling would be great. Lakeside tent sites are in a lovely spot but really subpar sites. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was wonderful though. I'm not sure that I'd stay here again. It's in a lovely spot but needs a lot of work. This park would of been wonderful in it's hey day but it's just shabby and worn out now.
Friendly staff, but needs some serious maintanence done to the place as nothing works. Change machines out of order, drinks machines don't work.. actually nearly every second electrical appliance is out of order. Reception closes by 8 so if you needed money changed (for laundry services etc) you need to drive to Jindabyne to do so. Watch out for cockroaches in the cabin too. In summary, would not recommend. Would have been a good deal at $40 a night, not $113.
Great imported sites, amenities were always clean and well looked after. The kitchen, lounge and TV room were fantastic too. Plenty of washing machines and dryers. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful.
Nice little caravan park with cabins just outside Jindabyne on the lake. Staff really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a cabin which was old but clean. A great common room with fireplace, amenities, games room and kitchen. Boat hire on the lake and bike hire just outside of park. Servo and restuarant next door.
Great park we have been coming here for last 6-7 years and have found it a great place to stay.-good flat camping spaces on the lake edge. -Clean tidy amenities-always friendly helpful staff.
