A unique and interesting visitors information centre with plenty of parking. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help you to explore the Snowy Mountains area. You can obtain your Mount Kosciuszko daily or yearly park pass at the centre, so you can explore the area. The Snow Mountains weather can change dramatically in a few moments so be prepared for extremely hot or cold temperatures during your visit.The area is increadably beautiful in every season, so enjoy your visit and leave no trace.
Excellent building, wonderful display of historic items, very helpful staff and many lovely items to purchase
The Snowy Region Visitor Centre has some facinating dioramas and vintage photos on display. Life was harsh and work was dangerous in the early days ... There is plenty of merchandise and cute souvenirs to suit all ages. The staff were NOT overly friendly or helpful compared with other visitor centres. However, the cafe staff made up for this with their enthusiasm and fab coffee and cheesecake!
